Boyd N Sheppard

Boyd N Sheppard (ex Isaac H Evans), was built in 1886 on the Maurice River in Cape May, New Jersey. She is one of the last surviving oyster dragger schooners afloat, and one of the oldest operating wooden vessels in the country. She was converted to the windjammer trade in the 80's and has been working as a passenger vessel since. 

In 2017, she was purchased by Katie and Adam McKinlay. A varied crew of Maine shipwrights were hired to rebuild her bow, including C&E Boatbuilding. Over the spring, the stem, apron, knightheads, forward sheer structure, bulwarks, and forward deck were replaced, among other items,
